Your Second Home in Victor Harbor
Victor Harbor Yacht Club provides an atmosphere that the whole family will surely enjoy. Our warm and welcoming members bring your sailing experience up to the next level.
The classes of boats sailed are a mix of off the beach catamarans and small dinghies.
This season our members have been sailing the following classes:
Stingray, Mosquito, Yvonne, A Class, Arrow, Arafura Cadet (AC), Laser, 420, O'pen Skiff (formerly O'pen Bic), Pacer, Mirror dinghies.
The sailors are supported by two rescue boats and a bridge, all staffed by our generous volunteers. Feel free to come down and say hello, we are always looking for new sailors and volunteers.
At the end of our season we hold an annual Rum Race. The course extends out of the sheltered water of Victor Harbor around the back of Granite Island, over to the Bluff and back. It is a well attended event, with sailors traveling from far and wide to compete.

Founded in 1957, Victor Harbor Yacht Club takes great pride in its exceptional leisure activities and fine amenities. Since we started, the Yacht Club has undergone a significant expansion and renovation of its facilities in order to upgrade the experience for members and guests. We are committed to meeting and surpassing the needs of our valued members.
